Membership
New Homeowners
If you are a Chamberlands homeowner and would like to join CBMC, complete the Membership Application via the link to the right or contact the CBMC Board for information. The membership application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors. New members pay a one time initiation fee of $6,500, as of July 1, 2025, and annual dues, currently $ 1,100, each January.
 
Benefits of CBMC Membership
The benefits of being a CBMC member are hard to quantify. They increase every year.  In 2025 the benefits included
 
Winter
  • daily snow plow with 6 inches or more of snow November, 1 through April 15
Summer
 
  • private beach access (lifeguard-staffed) in the summer
  • yoga on the beach
  • movies on the beach
  • kids crafts
  • Cornhole tournaments
  • members' socials
  • bus shuttle to the beach
 
Although these benefits are very valuable, CBMC provides a lot of other services that help the overall neighborhood. We contribute to improvement and maintenance, including Firewise dumpsters in May for clean-up, signs at the highway, beach improvements, including a sand replacement project coming soon! Our primary goal is to support the community in ways that is reflected positively in our enjoyment of the neighborhood and in our home values!
 
Who is CLRA?
CLRA is the Chambers Landing Recreation Association.  Membership in CLRA provides access to the pool and tennis/Pickle Ball courts, but not the private beach (that's through CBMC). Membership in CLRA transfers with the sale of the home.  There is the ability to buy-in to CLRA if your home does not include membership.  You should contact Hansen Management Association at (530)583-0229 or email chambers@hmmco.com if interested in joining.  There is currently no buoy access through CLRA.  One must have good standing in CBMC to maintain membership in CLRA.

Note for Real Estate Agents
Membership is not handled through escrow. Membership is voluntary after a new owner has completed purchase of a property in the Chamberlands subdivision and is handled through the Membership Application.
